I've seen alot of listless, boring sprite movies on newgrounds.

Then again, hasn't everyone?

Sonic and Mario sprite movies are the bulk of these bad movies, but also the brunt of the good ones.

Prehaps we should start using different sprites from different games...
Now, I know most other sprites are hard to get a hold of, but it's not that difficult.

You can get sprites from the fighting game MUGEN (google it if you haven't heard about it) by using a piece of software called fighter factory. Which is available on randomselect in the download tools section.
If anyone does decide to use this and has trouble with it I'll try and answer as many questions that I can help with, as I am also using this unothodox method myself.

And finally to upload a character's sprites and palletes onto fighter factory.
Go on Sprites > Open > Wherever you have your mugen characters > Open the sprite document up.

Please credit the authors that you got the sprites from in your movies.
